Outreach & Education

CARE Provides comprehensive outreach and prevention education to the campus community on sexual assault, dating and domestic violence, and stalking. See below for an overview of our prevention activities and visit the links to the left to learn about all of the ways you can get involved.

CARE Workshops and Trainings: CARE Workshops and Trainings are offered to students, staff, and faculty to educate the community about sexual violence prevention and response. To request a workshop, e-mail admin@careprogram.ucla.edu

CARE Certificate Training: CARE Certificate Training is a comprehensive 11-hour training on sexual assault, dating and domestic violence, and stalking. This training is offered quarterly. For more information or to RSVP, please e-mail CARE Administration at admin@careprogram.ucla.edu

Violence Intervention and Prevention (VIP) Program: The VIP Program is an organization of representatives from the UCLA Greek Community who are committed to addressing the issues of rape, sexual assault, dating and domestic violence, and stalking on our campus. Representatives from each fraternity and sorority (VIP Chairs) facilitate various awareness programs for their chapter's members and for the UCLA Community as a whole.

UCLA CARE Peer Education Program: Are you interested in applying to be a sexual assault peer educator in the CARE Office? In this role, students will help facilitate workshops on gender-based violence and support the CARE Office in programming initiatives.
